Established in honor of world-renowned architect and educator, Rodolfo Machado, this fund will support an annual presentation at RISD by an esteemed lecturer focusing on complex issues impacting the conception, design and implementation of architecture globally. 

Rodolfo Machado served as Head of Rhode Island School of Design Department of Architecture from 1978 to 1986 and has taught, lectured and has been a visiting critic at prestigious schools of architecture in the United States and abroad. His drawings and projects have been extensively published and exhibited in museums and galleries around the world.
