Beth Altringer Eagle
Beth Altringer Eagle specializes in combining design, engineering and creative technology to make learning more accessible, visual, interactive, contextual and delightful. Her passion is making invisible things visible through innovative design, research and technology. Her career began in sustainable design, but her doctoral research at Cambridge on the behavioral science of high-performing innovation teams convinced her to shift the focus of her design firm to data-driven product and UX design, learning design and creative technology collaboration.
Since 2021, Eagle has run the joint Master of Arts in Design Engineering (MADE) Program at Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, leveraging over a decade of international experience as a designer and educator. Her background includes a PhD from Cambridge, a term as visiting scholar at Stanford, a postdoc at MIT and 10 years in Harvard’s engineering faculty, where she co-created multidisciplinary design and engineering programs with Harvard’s design and business schools.
