Sarah Kruse received her PhD from the University of Rhode Island in 2016. Her research includes modernism, avant-garde poetry and poetics, philosophy of language, artist books and the archive. She has published critical work in Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies and The International Journal of Žižek Studies and creative nonfiction in Hotel Amerika. She is an associate editor for Barrow Street Press and a staff writer for Propeller Quarterly. She lives in Providence.
