Christopher (Kip) McMahan, AIA is a Principal Architect with over thirty years of experience in New England and New York. Based in Providence, his practice specializes in campus planning and design, project consulting, and strategic initiatives. In his recent capacities as Campus Planning Leader at AECOM and as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Facility Planning and Delivery, University Architect, at UW Madison, Kip directed planning, design, and construction on capital programs exceeding $1.4 B. He has provided leadership on projects in higher education for the planning, programming, and design of residence hall, classroom, research, athletic, and library projects. His background in large-scale commercial real estate development includes leading design teams on numerous market-based projects.
