Elinore Hollinshead has been teaching in RISD’s Experimental and Foundation Studies division since 2000 and taught in the Illustration and Painting departments before that. Her paintings have been described as “timeless, with the past, present and future melding together in a mysterious flux.” Most recently,she has shown her work at the Nature Conservancy Preserve Center Gallery, the Boulders, and the Orchard Cottage Exhibition Space, all in Cragsmoor, NY.
Hollinshead was awarded the Julia and David White Colony Fellowship Residency in Costa Rica five times from 2004–09 and designed and led a Wintersession course on drawing in Costa Rica in 2009.
