Andrew Keating

Andrew W. Keating is a registered architect with a hybrid practice focused on innovation in project delivery across the entire design, development and construction lifecycle. His portfolio of built projects covers a broad range including single family residential, food and beverage, retail, academic and large-scale mixed-use projects. Andrew is a founding partner of integrated architecture and construction office Stack + Co. and a principal of Providence-based Wade Keating. Andrew’s design approach includes the creation of strong narratives and conceptual frameworks around each project that extract or emphasize the unique characteristics of brands, organizations and individual clients.

His academic research focuses on new forms of interactive media and the expanding role of the architect into alternative verticals including cinema, television, gaming and production design. As a participant in the EDGE Program for Advanced Studies in Architecture at SCI-Arc in LA, Andrew also worked professionally in art departments as a game engine artist and production designer. He holds a Master in Architecture from the Harvard GSD and a Master in Fiction & Entertainment from SCI-Arc, and he previously served as an instructor in the Digital Media department at the Boston Architectural College.

Andrew has been an invited panelist/presenter at ABX Boston, the AIA Emerging Architect’s forum, AIA BIM Forum and A Better World by Design Conference. Selected awards include a Boston Society of Architects Design Award and a Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award.
