Ian Kienbaum

Ian Kienbaum is a designer and artist located here in Providence, RI. Ian works for 3SIXØ Architecture, focusing on community growth and enrichment projects, and he has a professional background in high-end residential work in the US and Canada.  Ian earned a BS in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. While attending LTU, he generated expertise in digital fabrication techniques, working for the research group makeLab. His interest in tools, materiality and craft guided his pursuit of a MArch at RISD. He brings a critical eye to the representation and consumption of American housing, with an interest in the effects of affordability and social media on the family unit.
