The office of Disability Support Services (DSS) provides, arranges and coordinates appropriate and reasonable accommodations for disabled students. DSS obtains and maintains disability-related documents, determines eligibility for services, determines reasonable accommodations and develops plans for such accommodations for students with disabilities. In order to receive accommodations in a specific class, the student must present an Accommodation Letter from DSS to the instructor.
The mission of DSS is to create an accessible community where people are evaluated on their ability, not their disability. DSS strives to provide students with the tools they need to accomplish their educational goals.
