Paul Kassabian

Paul Kassabian is a principal at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) and has taught at the graduate level since 2005. He is experienced in structural design and investigation on a wide range of structural systems from historic buildings to projects on the cutting edge of both structural systems and materials. He focuses on developing innovative methods of design and construction using SGH’s in-house materials lab, computational design approaches and digital fabrication techniques. Paul was a lecturer at MIT where he worked with graduate structural engineering students and then a lecturer at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He also posts educational content on structural design and behavior to his YouTube channel.
